Analysis with First Data from Large Size Telescope of Cherenkov Telescope Array

Published:

The TAE (Taller de Altas Energías) - Workshop on High Energy Physics is an international workshop aimed at completing the education of first and second year graduated students who are starting their research on experimental or theoretical High Energy Physics, Astroparticles and Cosmology. I attended the workshop in September 2021 and gave a student presentation on the Analysis of first data from LST-1 of the next-generation ground-based gamma-ray observatory, Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory. This was based on my PhD work until then.

The Analysis of the first blazars by the Large Size Telescope (LST) of the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO)

Published:

TeV Particle Astrophysics Conference (TeVPA) is an international conference focused on the field of Particle Astrophysics, covering exciting and timely topics such as cosmic ray physics, gamma-ray astronomy, neutrino astronomy, cosmology, direct and indirect searches for dark matter, gravitational waves, and connections to particle physics. I participated in the 20th edition of the Conference in November 2025 and presented at the behest of the CTAO-LST Collaboration, on a co-authored published work.

Can we see light in the ultra-high-energy sky?

Published:

Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata is an Institute of Basic Research and Training in Physical and Biological Sciences under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. I was invited to present a seminar hosted by the High Energy Nuclear & Particle Physics Division (Group B) at the institute. My talk was summarizing our current photo-graph of the universe in the ultra-high-energy band, the different strong constraints on the diffuse photon flux set by the Pierre Auger Observatory, and on what can we expect in the near future, with upgraded detectors and data analysis techniques.

Search for UHE photon sources using direction-time clustering algorithms with a BDT particle discriminant

Published:

The European Cosmic Ray Symposium (ECRS) is held every two years in one of the European countries. The main goal of the Symposia is to gather European Physics community performing research of cosmic rays and related fields, to present recent results, newly emerging ideas and forthcoming experiments. I participated in the 29th edition of the Symposia in the last week of June and first week of July 2026 and presented the usage of a modified clustering algorithm in the search of ultra-high-energy photon sources, from a list of assumed “PeVatron” sources.

Summer project supervision on Developing Python tools to search for ultra-high-energy photons using clustering algorithms

Tutorial, Instytut Fizyki Jądrowej im. Henryka Niewodniczańskiego Polskiej Akademii Nauk (IFJ PAN), July 14, 2025, August 01, 2025

IFJ PAN Particle Physics Summer Student Programme is aimed to introduce the students of second or higher year of physics and similar fields from Poland and abroad, to particle physics. The program consists of 1 week of lectures and 3 weeks of project, under the supervision of a tutor. I was the tutor to 2 students in July 2025, on the topic of “Developing Python tools to search for ultra-high-energy photons using clustering algorithms”, which used the uhecluster package.
